This is it True Religion Souls Radio Show # 9.

Big up to the Dj Unit(DJU) which comprises (Vinny Da Vinci & Christos, DJ Fresh, Oskido, Greg Maloka"Musical Maestro", Static P and the late legendary DJ Monde) for hosting, the successive annual Southern African Music Conference which currently is SAMC 2012 hosted at Durban and provides Artists of all spans be it Dj's/Producers/Vocalists/Singers/Instrumentalists provides a platform for all artists of different  musical backgrounds and genres housed under one roof to network and discuss ideas for Southern African Music growth and international expansion. It also features International Artist as from word just heard Byron Stingily (Ten City) landed today to also preach his word about working in the music industry. Other International Artists are Rocco and Ralf Gum. We got someone whom i know attended the event from Bots representing us none other than Boogie Sid rep us there music brother.

Well with that added to it this is show # 9. Trybe(TrybEvolution) in the mix giving us a feel that beats should be broken giving us a mix of syncopation. Broken Beats journey it is.

True Religion Souls it is Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to it, this is show # 8. 


I will quote unquote words sad by a circle of family a close friend namely a dj who i closely work with K-Moe whom wrote on  http://fourtothefloormovement.wordpress.com/

"This past weekend dated June 16 was a special one for deep house enthusiasts in Gaborone. A special culmination of djs producers, singers and those that enjoy the best sounds of deep and soulful house came under one roof on top of one bass bin and enjoyed the best deep house the city has to offer. This was the day of the African child and deep was the music of the day. 

The sound was inevitable as we approached the balcony. I remember a faint bassline and the sounds of screams as a track was introduced, it must’ve surely been a hot one. Anxiety built and the pace hastened, it took me back to the old GC where u could tell wether a gig popped off or not due to the sounds coming from the host location and this was surely to be a great one.

Upon enetering the scene there were showers of love as everybody was in an uplifting mood, I knew it -King Spin was in the mix and the man never disappoints. As i passed to grab a seat and some liquids, i notice a bass bin, a heavy bass bin this was the underground.

The tunes were all ecompassing everyone was enjoying the sounds and night kept on building as the dj’s kept on pumping out one tune after the other. Tunes that were not only for the deep house heads, but lovers of soul and good music, and this was evident in the uplifted mood that had showered the place as dj Miles of the 96min show jumped on the decks.

There was a short silence followed by an epic intro a la deephousecat. We immediately knew the man himself was about to do the right job for the right people, and mix well he did. The night continued with everyone caught up in either conversation, catching up, and some tried to create new connections and others were just enjoying the good food. One thing was for certain deep and soulful house was the order of the day. This is a sound rarely enjoyed by most people in the city as it is either confined to chill sessions, private gatherings or underground house party movements, but on this night the underground was floated."


Yes indeed it was a beautiful night as specified above. 


Trybe(TrybEvolution) is in the mix giving us quiet a pleasent mix of a pick of some male vocalist touches here and there. June is the international men's month surely ladies are spreading the love around. Yeah? Sweeet!

Welcome to it, this is show # 7 a mix that was part of a dedication to mothers on mothers day, well here it is delivered we celebrated the day with all our loved mothers out there and spread love to other mothers who are so wonderful and those who are with us in spirit spreading love to all you around it must be shown everyday listen closely to the message thats being interpreted in a pick of some songs in this show . 

True Religion Souls radio show # 7 also yet compiled with  being influenced, by the recent celebration of Dr Robert Moog who was celebrating his 78th  birthday last week Wednesday on the 23 May,  the inventor of the Moog Synthesizer hence the word Moog was derived from his last name, all hail for the invention of such a complex piece of an instrument that adds a really good warm soulful touch to tracks we hear out there. You will hear touches of  the Moog synthesizer sounds here and there melodically SOULCHARGING us up, its Trybe(TrybEvolution) in the mix. Aaareyeng!

Greeting Soulful Ladies and Gentlemen

Welcome to it Ladies and Gentlemen True Religion Souls we at it show # 6, though it’s been a few weeks with out any uploads and our SOULS have been hungry for another fortnightly show, this is all due to reasons unforeseen and beyond our control.

Fuelled by a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. that states that “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.” 

We put in all that driven by the words above to make sure something gets put up, though faced with other commitments and daily challenges but with music being our passion and also driven by it, we juggle it in between schedules to put up our story out there.

I cannot contain my inner child excitation writing up this blog write as today the True Religion Souls Radio Show is getting up to an extension of guest mixes which will be incorporated in within the shows progressions. Introducing our very first guest, K-moe whom is a close friend an extreme homie whom we started our Djing experience simultaneously in 2003 that’s about 9-10 years back, flashback to the times when it all started remember when we started had only a Gemini PS 100 mixer and two Discman’s and our mixing at that time was that of cut & paste “no beat matching” recorded the mixes we made on tape and made sure the tapes were distributed among colleagues and played some of them particularly in combis, just thought I could just shed a little on our history. Well that added to it K-Moe will be soulcharging us up! He has some off shore experience as he has had exposure to have been based in Australia for about 5 years had gigs in Malaysia.  K-moe’s sounds are influenced by heavy bass, deep chords, remember a certain question of which we at certain occasions we discuss and have had quiet countless debates of what sounds, what instrument makes it for one in a track and he states that it’s that of a keyboard the keys and I of that of a moog synthesizer and judging through observation it is indeed like that, with that added to it, I would say his style is that of deep house.  For one I believe djing is about taking ones mixing abilities to extended levels beyond by mixing other genres here and there, K-Moe is one man who has the ability to do so as he also blazes hip hop soul.

Well this is it True Religion Souls Radio Show # 6 with DJ K-moe giving us a good deep house mix with a transition to soulful house… Aaaaareyeng!

The spirit of togetherness is the beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is progress, well this is in appreciation of all the support thats been coming in for True Religion Souls major thanks to everyone, and shall we keep soul-charging. 

An announcement for all TrybEvolution"Trybe" and K-Moe whom started their Djing experience more likely at the same era have come up with a movement called :

The Four to The Floor movement : Where they will be hosting shows at Cafe Khwest which is the home of the movement and various locations, every first and second last Friday of the month. The aim of the movement is to provide fans and music lovers with quality house music that they sometimes miss out on. One should expect to hear nothing but the finest in Deep Jazzy :: Soulful:: Broken Beats :: Lounge House, Nu-Jazz and Live Deep Soulful performance's.
